Hedges in Normandy France

Members of Hedgelink visited Normandy in May 2010 to find out about the state and management of the hedgerows and orchards in this part of France. They discovered that hedgerows are in trouble over much of the region, but were introduced to some excellent initiatives to help conserve them. Hedgelink members also heard about fascinating research into the value of orchards and hedgerows for birds.
